Eligibility
- Identify as female
- Interested in pursuing a career in the aerospace field
- Rising junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in engineering, math or science
- Completed at least two and a half academic years of full-time college work at the time of application
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories
- Plan to be enrolled in the subsequent academic year
- College grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- U.S. citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
Description
Named WIA Foundation scholarship (Amr ElSawy) for rising juniors and seniors pursuing bachelor's degrees in engineering, math, or science who identify as female and are U.S. citizens or Lawful Permanent Residents. Two Amr ElSawy scholarships are available in the 2026-2027 cycle; each award is $5,000. Applications due June 16, 2026.
