Eligibility

  • Must be a student from Georgia or South Carolina
  • Must attend an accredited four-year college or university in the United States
  • Must be from one of the specified counties in Georgia or South Carolina
  • Permanent address must be within the designated county region at the time of high school graduation
  • Must be a current high school senior or current undergraduate student
  • Must plan to attend a four-year, regionally accredited, non-profit college
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
  • Complete each semester with at least 12 credit hours

Description

The primary mission of the Watson-Brown Foundation is providing need and merit-based scholarships to select Georgia and South Carolina students attending accredited four-year colleges and universities in the United States. The scholarships are awarded to students from communities in and near the Savannah River valley where the founder, Walter J. Brown, was raised and spent the majority of his adult life.
