Eligibility
- Be a full-time enrolled student as an undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at any HBCU during the 2026-2027 academic year
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher
- Must have the 2026-2027 FAFSA on file at your selected university/college by the time of selection
- Must be able to demonstrate a financial need
- Be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
Description
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and The Ecology Wildlife Foundation offer financial assistance to outstanding students attending historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Eight scholars will be selected to receive a scholarship of $10,250 for the 2026-2027 academic year. The scholarship amount will be allocated in two installments: one during the fall 2026 semester and the second during the spring 2027 semester, applicable to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.
