Eligibility
- Must be a public school employee in Delaware
- Must provide services in a high needs Delaware public school and/or a high needs subject area
- Must hold a valid, current license and certificate issued by the Delaware Department of Education
- Must have a qualified educational loan
- Must be employed full-time for at least 1 school year in the high-need school/area
- Must not have an ineffective evaluation on the State’s current evaluation system
Description
The Public School Employee Support Program for High Need Areas provides eligible public school employees in Delaware with a stipend payment that can be applied toward an educational loan. This program is distinct from federal loan forgiveness programs and is designed to support employees working in high needs schools or subject areas.
