Eligibility
- Reside in the United States
- Meet Last Miles standard eligibility criteria listed on the Apply page
- Currently enrolled in a United States community college or technical college
- Pursuing a certificate, associate, or bachelors degree in cybersecurity or cyber-adjacent fields
- Have not previously received an award from the Microsoft Cybersecurity Scholarship Program
- Be at least 18 years old at the time of applying
- If enrolled in a 2-year program: provide a current transcript (unofficial accepted)
- If enrolled in a community college bootcamp or certification program: provide proof of enrollment agreement or document with name, recent date of enrollment, and program of study
- Provide a LinkedIn profile with a profile picture
Description
One-time financial assistance and certification subsidy program for students enrolled in U.S. community or technical colleges pursuing cybersecurity or cyber-adjacent degrees. Provides up to $500 in short-term financial assistance and up to $375 toward cybersecurity certification exam costs, plus access to LinkedIn Premium, GitHub Global Campus, and the Global Mentors Initiative. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
