Eligibility
- Be an undergraduate currently enrolled full-time and pursuing a degree program (or MDDP) in the College of LSA
- Have an admit term of Summer or Fall 2025
- Intend to declare a major in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
- Have their permanent residence in one of the specified rural Michigan counties
- Express an interest in working in a STEM field in Michigan post-graduation
Description
The Leinweber STEM Scholars Scholarship aims to support students from rural Michigan counties pursuing degrees in STEM within the College of Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) at the University of Michigan. This funding of $10,000 covers various educational expenses, including tuition, room and board, fees, and other costs of attendance. The scholarship is renewable for up to three years, provided students maintain eligibility requirements.
