Eligibility
- Applicants can be of any nationality.
- Applicants must be planning to study for a PhD in Biochemistry or an allied biomedical science.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate outstanding academic distinction.
- Applicant’s promising research career has been interrupted for quite extraordinary non-academic reasons.
- Applicant must be ineligible for an award from public funds.
Description
The Krebs Memorial Scholarship is offered to individuals whose very promising research career has been interrupted for extraordinary non-academic reasons and/or those ineligible for public funds. It is aimed at acknowledging exceptional academic achievement and outstanding potential. The scholarship is offered for 1 academic year initially but can be renewed up to a maximum of 3 years. It covers maintenance allowance and tuition fees at the home student’s rate.
