Earl P. Andrews Scholarship

Requires (3) Three letters of recommendation. Donated by the mother of Earl P. Andrews, this scholarship is dedicated to aiding disadvantaged students majoring in Arts and Sciences. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible for this scholarship, awarded for the first time in fall 2001. It will provide assistance in the amount of $1,000 per year to the individual(s) chosen. Students must reapply each spring. An original essay (1,000 word limit) addressing the following points: 1) The obstacles you are currently facing in the pursuit of your education, 2) Description of accomplishments to date, 3) Your goals regarding higher education, career planning and aspirations.
