Description
The Dr. Frederick Jones Sr. Family Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Southwest Dallas, specifically from Duncanville, DeSoto, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster, Texas. The scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or medicine at any accredited 2-year or 4-year college or university in the United States or its possessions. Awardees are selected based on school and community participation, community service, aspirations and ideals expressed in an essay, financial need, and two letters of recommendation. The scholarship offers up to $5,000 for four years.
