Eligibility
- Be a high school junior or senior
- Attend or be a graduate of a public, private, charter or parochial school located in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, Native American lands, a U.S. territory or a Department of Defense school
- Be active member in good standing with a Boys and Girls Club
- Have participated in Money Matters
- Plan to enroll in full-time or part-time (minimum 6 credits) undergraduate study at an accredited two or four-year college or vocational-technical school
- Have the recommendation of a Club staff professional
Description
The Charles Schwab Foundation Money Matters Scholarship Program supports financial literacy among teens and tweens through the Money Matters: Make It Count program. It offers scholarships to high school juniors and seniors who are active members of a Boys and Girls Club and have participated in Money Matters. The top-ranking applicant will be named National Money Matters Ambassador and receive a $10,000 scholarship, while four other recipients will receive $5,000 each. Awards are for education-related expenses for undergraduate study only.
