- Must maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Must provide proof of full time enrollment in secondary education
- Must be a California resident
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be committed to obtaining an education related to mining, geology, engineering, or environmental studies
Description
The WIM California Chapter offers annual competitive scholarships for students committed to obtaining an education related to mining, geology, engineering, or environmental studies. Applicants must be at least a senior in high school or currently enrolled full time in college. The scholarship grant shall be applied toward the cost of tuition and/or course expenses. Scholarships are not automatically renewed, but recipients can reapply annually.
