Eligibility
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in eligible STEM and health care majors
- Transferring to a four-year institution or completing a bachelor’s degree at a community college
- Must be a Washington resident
- Meet income limitations: family income does not exceed 125% of Washington state median family income
- Complete the FAFSA or WASFA
- Plan to enroll in an eligible STEM or health care major at an eligible Washington state college or university
- Plan to enroll in at least three credits every fall, winter, and spring terms
- Have not yet earned a bachelor’s degree
- Have earned or will earn a high school credential in Washington state by June of the application year
- Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 or a passing GED score
- If in college, must not have earned more than 90 quarter or 60 semester credits by the application deadline
Description
The Baccalaureate Scholarship (BaS) is for students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in eligible STEM and health care majors, including those transferring to a four-year institution or completing a bachelor’s degree at a community college. The scholarship offers up to a total of $22,500 for a maximum of 6 years.
