Eligibility

  • Eligible applicants must intend to pursue undergraduate studies in the field of engineering.
  • Applicant has been accepted/admitted to a university or junior college that is either accredited by ABET or PAHRA, or hosts a recognized ASHRAE student branch.
  • Applicant has submitted an official (sealed) high school transcript.
  • Applicant has submitted one letter of recommendation from a teacher or community leader.
  • It is preferred, but not required, that applicant has participated in the annual ASHRAE Baltimore Student Design Competition.

Description

The Baltimore Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) offers scholarships to high school students participating in the ASHRAE Baltimore Chapter Student Design Challenge. Scholarships are awarded to students who intend to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in an ASHRAE-related engineering field.
